How can you help?

The Henry County Community Foundation believes the power of volunteering enriches Henry County and makes our community a better place to live and raise a family.  When you volunteer, you not only lend a helping hand but in exchange, you gain so much more.  The following information is made available to match good people looking for good causes. 

Volunteer Opportunities*:

Need:  Event Preparation

Christian Love Center: 521-2837
Needs:  Mondays & Wednesdays - Work in clothes closet and food Pantry
               Tuesdays - Wash dishes, serve food, deliver meals

Cradles: 593-6629
Needs: Yard work, Cleaning, Childcare Assistance, Lunch Preparation

God's Grain Bin: 765-524-6499 (Steve Slocomb)
Needs:  Assist with shopping, carrying groceries, unload truck

Henry County Habitat for Humanity ReStore: 765-529-3229 (Cary Plummer)
Needs:  Volunteers - stock shelves, pricing and organizing, and helping with donation pickups. 
               Donations: appliances, architectural items, cabinets/countertops, electrical residential items, fans, flooring,
               furniture, hardware, insulation, lawn & garden/ landscaping materials, lighting, lumber, plumbing fixtures, roofing, vents,
               vinyl siding and window, screens, or blinds.
