The first grant for a community garden fosters the age-old skill of gardening to produce edible vegetables and fruits.

Scholarships

The Henry County Community Foundation is committed to assisting students as they pursue their higher educational goals. Through donors who share this vision, the foundation offers over 100 scholarship opportunities, helping students realize their academic dreams.

Important Information To Students

The generosity of our donors have made these scholarships available to you.  Through the establishment of their scholarship fund, they are guaranteeing students will receive scholarship in perpetuity.  In helping you prepare for your finances, below is an estimated award key.  Be advised, small fluctuations may occur with award amounts.

Scholarship Award Range Key:

$100-$499 = $
$500-$999 = $$
$1000 and over =$$$

IMPORTANT:  The Henry County Community Foundation will not send checks to the college choice until a thank you has been received at the foundation, addressed to the individual as listed above.  The foundation will mail the thank you note/card to the appropriate individual. 

If you wish to apply, please take time to read through the list of scholarship opportunities provided. Applications are available online or in your high school counselor's office. The scholarship deadline for high school seniors is March 11, 2013, 5pm .
