Kyle was born in Henry county and lived here until he went to college at Purdue University. He went to Indiana University School of Medicine after graduating from Purdue. After this, Kyle went on to Orthopedic Surgery residency and lived in Springfield, IL, for 5 years. Kyle spent 2 months in Vail, CO, completing additional training and moved back to Indiana in 2012. Kyle has worked in Henry County since then and has lived in New Castle since 2017. Since high school, he has known about the Foundation as he was the recipient of the Lilly Scholarship. When he came back to Henry County as an orthopedic surgeon, the Foundation reached out, and he began serving on the board. Kyle shares the rewarding aspects of this role,
“The HCCF has been a great place to help me with my philanthropic goals and I am glad to help play a role in trying to better our community. I have learned a great deal from the other board members as well. It really is an honor to be able to live and work in this community and to be able to help friends and family with their healthcare needs. Equally important to me is trying to help elevate Henry County as a place that others want to work, live, and raise their families. HCCF is at the forefront of trying to build on the strengths of our community, and I am excited to be a part of that.” Kyle is an orthopedic surgeon at Henry Community Health.
