Toy Hansen, Barbara (Jordan) Nov 22, 1926 – Jun 18, 2017 Passed away in Omaha, NE, June 18, 2017, after a brief illness. A resilient woman and homemaker, she left a legacy of personal service and engagement. After her husband’s death from cancer when she was 42, she raised four boys, ages four to 16, who all became Eagle Scouts. She remarried and became stepmother for three. She moved to Omaha in 2005 after living in Indiana and Illinois. Barbara was a lifetime member of many organizations: Fort Wayne Simpson United Methodist Church (leading missions work), Alpha Chi Omega, P.E.O. Chapter BX and AB (past president), Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, American Dietetic Association, and Indiana University Alumni Association.
