When you support the Choose Henry Flex Fund, you are meeting needs in Henry County! The annual payout is used to help where the needs are the greatest, and the benefits to the community and its citizens are most substantial.
This year during the fall grant cycle, the Choose Henry Flex Fund was able to award $104,175.00 in grant money to 23 local organizations. It’s through donors who give to the Choose Henry Flex Fund that we are are able to help causes in our community thrive! 
Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana: To assist in combatting hunger in Henry County through the Henry County tailgates and the seven food pantries that they help.
The Salvation Army of Henry County: To help expand the Pathway to Hope program, which provides a hand up to Henry County families that are in need of one.
Academy Place Apartments: To assist Academy Place Apartments as they provide housing for senior citizens and disabled individuals.
Beautify Knightstown Inc.: Funding to install a 9-hole disc golf course located in Sunset Park to provide the community with the opportunity for a fun outdoor activity.
Raintree Habitat for Humanity: Assisting with the necessary replacement of the HVAC unit in the office/ReStore, which provides the space for Habitat for Humanity to continue its projects and program while also raising funds for future opportunities.
New Castle Babe Ruth Baseball League: Place a bullpen at M Ave and S Main Street that will prevent the baseballs from potentially causing traffic disruptions or pedestrian injuries.
Henry County Friends of Memorial Park: Funding to replace a suspended footbridge, which would allow people to enjoy the walking path again for health and wellness.
Art Association of Henry County: Providing funding to repair/upgrade the kitchen for the safety of the occupants as well as increasing rental opportunities for AACH sustainability.
Dunreith Volunteer Fire Department: Funding to assist the department with regular expenses and allow them to continue serving the community.
New Castle Community Schools- Nurse: Providing Parker Elementary with lifesaving equipment through the purchase of a new AED device.
New Castle Community Schools- Choirs: To aid in purchasing a new piano that will allow better mobility for the music programs, which consists of around 400 students.
New Castle Community Schools- Baseball Boosters: Funding to support a match challenge from the school board for the brick backstop project.
Kennard Volunteer Fire Dept: Funding for new turnout gear to ensure the safety of the Kennard volunteer firefighters.
Kennard Police Dept: To purchase the necessary equipment to allow offers to have the proper equipment to perform their duties.
New Castle Fire Dept: Funding to replace radio communication system, providing firefighters constant contact, allowing safer responses for both firefighters and residents, in potentially life-or-death situations.
