Community Grants through the Choose Henry Flex Fund

Henry County Community Foundation Awards over $191,000 in Community Grants through the Choose Henry Flex Fund

The Henry County Community Foundation (HCCF) board of directors has awarded over $191,000 to 27 organizations serving Henry County residents.  The purpose of these grants is to assist local nonprofits to promote and support social services, arts and culture, health and recreation, civic affairs, and the educational needs of Henry County residents.

The grants were made out of the Choose Henry Flex Fund, which was established by generous donors across Henry County to help address local needs and enhance our community. Every dollar donated to the Choose Henry Flex Fund makes a difference.  The needs in the county are always changing, making the Choose Henry Flex Fund an essential part of our community.

The following organizations received a spring grant awarded through the Choose Henry Flex Fund:

Academy Place Apartments, American Red Cross, Beautify Knightstown, Inc., Believe and Achieve Mentoring (BAM), Cardinal Greenways, Christian Love Help Center, Dunreith Volunteer Fire Department, Healthy Communities of Henry County, Henry County 200, Henry County Historical Society, Henry County Saddle Club, Hoosier Gym Community Center, Knightstown Kids, Inc., Knightstown Main Street, Little Red Door Cancer Agency, Middletown-Fall Creek Township Public Library, Mooreland Free Fair, Inc., New Castle Babe Ruth Baseball League, New Castle-Henry County Public Library, New Castle Landbank Corporation, New Castle Little League, New Castle Main Street, Safe At Home, South Henry School Corporation, Southwest District Ambulance Service, Victory Lane Camp, and Youth Opportunity Center.
