Diana Jo Briar, 60, passed away early Tuesday morning March 10, 2015 at I.U. Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. A daughter of the late Elmer Foster and Marietta Ellen (Scott) Marshall, Diana was born in Wayne County, Indiana on September 27, 1954. A graduate of Lincoln High School in Cambridge City with the class of 1972 she had worked in the office at PROKO Industries from 1979-1993. She then began working as office clerk for Luellen Bros. Grain Elevator in New Lisbon with 22 years of service there. In her leisure she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Dean Briar, whom she married at the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church on June 17, 1972; 2 sons, Kevin (Gina) Briar of Straughn and Adam (Missy) Briar of Greens Fork; 4 grandchildren, Jimmy, Amanda, Joe and Courtney; 1 sister, Tami (Jeff) Becker of Dublin.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Reverends Don Miller and Arthur Whitaker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Brick Cemetery south of Hagerstown. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday March 13 at the funeral home.
