Dr. Benjamin Harrison & Judge John H. Morris Scholarship

The Indiana University Alumni Association of Henry County established trust funds in May, 1958 and April, 1966 which are now known in the records of the Indiana University Foundation and the Henry County Community Foundation as the Benjamin L. Harrison/ Judge John H. Morris Henry County Alumni Scholarship. This scholarship was named because Dr. Harrison and Judge Morris were two of Indiana University’s outstanding graduates and two of Henry County’s truest and most faithful servants.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student (s) graduating from a Henry County high school, attending Indiana University or affiliate with financial need.

To be used for tuition, room and board, and other educational expenses .

 

 

OTHER INFORMATION:

Scholarship Award Range- $$$

If student does NOT attend a university or college, all money awarded shall be reimbursed to the scholarship fund.

Payments will be paid in one installment at the beginning of the fall semester after the student has turned in a thank you note to the Foundation Office.

IMPORTANT: The Henry County Community Foundation will not send checks to the college choice until a thank you has been received at the foundation, addressed to the individual provided on the award letter. The foundation will mail the thank you note/card to the appropriate individual.
